This renovation project in downtown Ipswich presented a number of challenges. The extremely small lot had to be efficiently utilized to accomodate the needs of the building's commercial and residential tenants. Also, the property abutted the Ipswich River, requiring special care during construction to ensure that the environment was not disturbed, and the natural beauty of the site was preserved. And finally, the renovated building had to complement the historical character of downtown Ipswich. The result, as you can see from the photos, is one that Open Meadow is truly proud of and, most importantly, the building owners and tenants are extremely satisfied with.
